Who is The Cabana?
Since 2005 we have been a staple for fashion inspired by tropical travel and fun in the sun. Pulling inspiration from our fave destinations.
Do you have a physical location?
Yes! We have 2 physical locations. Both are in Ontario, Canada. One is Port Elgin and the other is Sauble Beach. Come visit!
What are your store hours?
Our Sauble Beach store is open May 1 through Thanksgiving. Our Port Elgin location is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 12-5. Note, our winter hours we are closed Sun/Mon through January & February.
Do you offer local pick-up?
Yes we do! You can order online and pick up in-store at any Cabana location.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, gift cards can be purchased in-store (card) or online (e-mail with code).

🛍️ ORDERS & PAYMENTS
What payment methods do you accept?
In-store we accept Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How do I know if my order went through?
You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your transaction goes through. It should be instant.
What if I didn’t receive an email confirmation?
If you did not receive an email, check your junk or spam folder.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Yes, as long as your order has not shipped. We can adjust or cancel items and orders.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Yes, we can change the order on our side anytime before the order ships. Contact customerservice@thecabana.ca.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! International rates are provided at checkout. All international orders must include tracking.
Will I have to pay duties or customs fees?
Yes. Customers are responsible for any duties or taxes required on international orders.
📦 SHIPPING QUESTIONS
When will my order ship?
All in-stock orders ship within 24–48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
How long does delivery take?
Shipping times vary by location. Please refer to the estimates at checkout.
Where is my order?
Once shipped, use your tracking number to monitor progress.
How do I track my order?
After shipment, you’ll receive an email with tracking. We use Canada Post, UPS, Purolator and Canpar.
My tracking hasn’t updated — what do I do?
If there are no updates, contact the shipping company directly.
My package says delivered but I don’t have it.
Contact the shipping company right away so they can open a case.
🔄 RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
Returns must be pre-authorized within 2 business days of receipt. Items must be unused and in original condition.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email returns@thecabana.ca to get started.
Who pays for return or exchange shipping?
Return shipping is paid by the customer. We cover shipping on exchanges.
How long do refunds take?
Please allow 5–7 business days after return receipt for refunds to appear.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes. We do exchanges. Customer is responsible for return shipping, we cover shipping for the exchanged item.
Can I return my online purchase to the store?
Yes, but return authorization is required first. Please contact us at returns@thecabana.ca.
My order arrived damaged or defective.
Email customerservice@thecabana.ca with photos, order number and details.

How does sizing run?
Sizing varies by brand. Check size charts or contact us for help.
Where is the size chart?

What if an item doesn’t fit?
You may return or exchange the item.
Can swimwear be returned?
Yes, if unworn with tags and hygiene liner intact.
How should I care for my items?
We advise that you follow the care instructions on the garment.

Do you restock sold-out items?
Yes! We regularly re-stock popular styles. If something is out of stock, please use the 'notify me' service or reach out to us.
Are colors exactly as shown online?
We aim for accuracy, but colours may vary slightly by screen. Rest assured, we use professional photography given directly to us from our brand to ensure accuracy.
Will items shrink or fade?
Follow care instructions, especially for cotton items.
How do I know if an item is final sale?
Items discounted 30% or more are final sale.
What happens if there’s a pricing error?
We honour pricing errors within 10% of regular retail price.

Do gift cards expire?
No, gift cards do not expire.
Can gift cards be refunded?
Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
I lost my gift card — can it be replaced?
Lost, stolen or gift cards used without authorization cannot be replaced. Keep it in a safe spot.
Where can I use my gift card?
Gift cards can be used online or in-store.
How do I check the balance on my gift card?
You can have our staff check your balance in-store or you may contact us at customerservice@thecabana.ca.
